We reviewed candidate websites and social media, voting records, and interviews to make our picks. Look up your House and Senate districts at the form, and use the search bar to see where your candidates stand.

Beto O’Rourke – Only one candidate for Governor has a plan to restore, expand and defend abortion access for Texans and that’s Beto O’Rourke! Check out his website here, and our endorsements here.

Republican

Greg Abbott – Abbott has spent his entire career as Governor signing the most extreme restrictions and multiple bans on abortion. Texans deserve better. Abbott has inflicted so much harm on Texans, and is not a friend to abortion rights.

Mike Collier – This is the best candidate running in this race if you care about abortion access. This candidate has posted publicly that he supports expanding reproductive healthcare.

Republican

Dan Patrick – Dan Patrick has spent his entire tenure as Lt. Gov stigmatizing abortion and pushing a far-right, religious extremist agenda that harms Texans. He has been endorsed by Texas Right to Life and has expressed publicly that he is anti-abortion. He is not a friend to abortion rights!
