Wade was overturned, it would trigger a total criminalization of abortion in Texas as soon as possible – 30 days after the court decision was finalized. After the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade, the countdown was on.
