Reproductive Justice means the right to have children, the right to not have children, and the right to raise families in safe, healthy, and supportive communities. But in Texas, too many are being denied all three.
Texas lawmakers claim to support pregnant people and families, but instead of funding real needs, the state sends millions of our taxpayer dollars to anti-abortion centers or “crisis pregnancy centers” and peddles them as legitimate healthcare resources.
These fake clinics call themselves “crisis pregnancy centers” and have one goal: to prevent people from accessing abortion care, and they have zero obligation to tell you the truth. They have no oversight or medical accountability, and often use deceptive tactics like misleading advertising, fake medical imagery, and scare tactics to pressure people into continuing pregnancies.
While abortion bans are endangering lives by denying lifesaving care and Texans are struggling to afford basic needs like health care, child care, housing, and transportation, those who govern over us are funding lies and coercion.
Seeking pregnancy support or abortion care should not be a trap. This is the reality pregnant and parenting Texans face, and it’s why this campaign exists. Pregnant and parenting Texans deserve material aid without conditions or coercion and information and resources without a hidden agenda. We deserve real care.
Texas is spending millions of our tax dollars on anti-abortion centers that often mislead people seeking pregnancy care — all while families struggle to afford the support they actually need.

I believe Texans deserve honest healthcare information and real support, not taxpayer-funded deception. I urge Texas leaders to stop funding anti-abortion centers and invest in the resources families actually need.

Texas could soon criminalize all abortion. But together, we still have the power to take back our futures. Right now, Avow canvassers are working in the field and talking to voters about what abortion access means to our communities.
When we win back abortion rights at the state level, no out-of-touch, extreme judge will ever have the power to take it away again. Rush a donation and commit to restoring abortion access in Texas.

SB 8 bans abortion as early as 6 weeks and puts a $10,000 bounty on anyone who helps someone get abortion care. Now more than ever, we need unapologetic abortion rights advocates to lay the groundwork to defeat anti-abortion lawmakers.
Chip in to organize Texans to restore abortion access in our state. The organizing we do today determines the gains we make in 2022.
