Instead, Texas lawmakers are directing millions of taxpayer dollars to anti-abortion centers, sometimes called “crisis pregnancy centers.” These organizations are designed to discourage abortion, yet they aren’t held to the same standards as licensed healthcare providers. Many use misleading advertising, medical-looking settings, and inaccurate information to influence people’s decisions.

Meanwhile, Texans are asking for affordable health care, child care, housing, transportation, and the resources families actually need.

We believe every Texan deserves real care, not coercion.
