Reject Prop 15 - Say no to government overreach.

It's a hard and scary time to be a parent and a young person. We want to keep our kids safe and protect them.

Proposition 15 is not the answer. It’s unnecessary, vague, and dangerous. It goes too far.

What you need to know about Prop 15

Prop 15 is unnecessary.

Parents’ rights in Texas are already protected. Proposition 15 would go beyond that. Instead of protecting your rights as a parent, Proposition 15 would open the door for another parent’s personal beliefs to strip rights from other people’s children and their families.

Prop 15 is vague.

Proposition 15 sounds simple, and that is because the people behind it are making it vague, on purpose. The folks pushing Proposition 15 are funded by extremist groups that want excessive political overreach into our lives, our families, and our rights. Prop 15 would set the stage for Texas politicians to pass more harmful legislation that could lead to us losing more of our rights.

Prop 15 is dangerous.

Prop 15 can lead to delays in young people getting care, censorship in schools, and increased family policing. As Texans, we want our children to succeed and to be safe. Young people should be able to get information that helps them make good decisions and access care, like mental health care or emergency treatment. Under Prop 15, young people could lose basic rights, like safety and access to knowledge about themselves, their bodies, their history, and the world.

FIGHT THE TEXAS ABORTION BAN

SB 8 bans abortion as early as 6 weeks and puts a $10,000 bounty on anyone who helps someone get abortion care. Now more than ever, we need unapologetic abortion rights advocates to lay the groundwork to defeat anti-abortion lawmakers.

Chip in to organize Texans to restore abortion access in our state. The organizing we do today determines the gains we make in 2022.
